Time to get together and celebrate some live music on Florida’s Historic Coast!
Uncover the hidden gem of Florida's Historic Coast, where the Sing Out Loud Festival promises extraordinary lineups! This multi-week celebration of music will be held at various charming locales across St. Augustine and Ponte Vedra.
The festival commences with the Sing Out Loud Local Showcase, a cherished tradition since 2016. Showcasing hundreds of local singers, songwriters, and musicians, the Local Showcase offers an incredible array of genres, from indie rock to bluegrass, hip hop to country, comedy to spoken word. This series of free concerts, hosted at more than a dozen venues, is the heartbeat of the Sing Out Loud Festival, allowing everyone to immerse themselves in Florida's vibrant musical landscape.
Since its inception in 2016, the Sing Out Loud Festival has become an annual celebration of live music, taking place over multiple weekends in September. With its vast array of musical genres and over 100 local, regional, and national artists performing both free and ticketed shows, the festival is a testament to the passion for music in the region. Produced by St. Johns County Cultural Events, the driving force behind The St. Augustine Amphitheatre and Ponte Vedra Concert Hall, and in partnership with the St. Johns County Tourist Development Council, the festival is guided by its core values of music, community, and philanthropy, having contributed over $300,000 to support local nonprofit organizations while welcoming more than 1,300 musicians from around the world.
The Sing Out Loud Festival returns to Francis Field in downtown St. Augustine, marking its dates for Saturday, September 21, and Sunday, September 22. The Live Wildly Showcase promises a stellar lineup, headlined by country sensation Eric Church and Americana artist Ryan Bingham with The Texas Gentlemen on Saturday. Meanwhile, Sunday will feature performances by folk-pop talent Noah Kahan and the legendary Norah Jones.
Saturday's roster boasts a diverse array of acts including alternative rock pioneers The Breeders, bluegrass virtuosos Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway, and indie folk artist Tré Burt. On Sunday, attendees can groove to the sounds of retro-soul from Marcus King, alternative country by Sierra Ferrell, and the multi-instrumental stylings of Kevin Morby, along with the dynamic duo Nat & Alex Wolff.
Tickets for the Live Wildly Showcase become available to the general public on Friday, March 29, at 10:00 AM, exclusively online via SingOutLoudFestival.com. Various ticket options including single-day and two-day passes, along with layaway plans, will be on offer.
As in previous years, Sing Out Loud remains dedicated to collaborations with non-profit organizations. This year, the festival joins forces with the Live Wildly Foundation, focusing on preserving Florida's natural landscapes and wildlife, particularly the Florida Wildlife Corridor. A portion of ticket sales will support conservation efforts in St. Johns County.
Gabe Pellicer, CEO & President of SJC Cultural Events, expressed the festival's commitment to community impact and environmental preservation. Lisa Shipley, Live Wildly’s Chief Executive Officer, echoed these sentiments, emphasizing the festival's role in celebrating Florida's culture while advocating for environmental protection.
Beyond the Live Wildly Showcase, Sing Out Loud Festival will include free local artist showcases, ticketed events, artist development programs, and more throughout September. Further details will be announced in due course.
Curated and produced by SJC Cultural Events, Inc., Sing Out Loud Festival 2024 proudly collaborates with the Live Wildly Foundation and various community partners, including the St. Johns County Tourist Development Council, City of St. Augustine, and St. Johns County, among others.
